How are we doing it?

We are committed to make learning more effective for the children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds (especially in the fields of science, math, sanitation, early child hood education, nutrition, health & hygiene). Over the last 7 years we have impacted both directly & indirectly over 7.5 lac students studying in Govt. & low income – slum schools (also referred to as Affordable Private Schools). The above impact has been possible because of the generous support of various organizations big and small, viz. Reckitt Benckiser, State Bank of Hyderabad, NTPC, ITC & individuals.

Problems we are trying to address:

Gaps in attaining - Minimum levels of Learning
  • Poor Math Learning in Primary Schools
  • Rote learning without understanding & application
  • Multi level – Multi grade Single teacher schools
  • Language as a barrier to Science learning
Ineffective Labs

High CapEx & Running costs of Traditional Lab Infrastructure which is mostly Ineffective

Children as Change Agents

Children as Change Agents for Transforming Rural Health, Hygiene and Sanitation – Swachh Bharat

Innovations that we have come up with to address the above challenges are:
  • Developing Affordable, Topic wise Modules – in the form of Sachets (deriving inspiration from the shampoo sachets.
  • Developing Colourful mind maps – also called as Concept Maps in vernacular media
  • Learning Games / Apps
