The table of 9 can be explained using repeated addition of 9. For example, a basket has 6 different colors each containing 9 flowers. In this case, the total number of flowers in the basket can be calculated using the multiplication table.

This means that each color has 9 flowers.

Thus, total number of flowers = 9 × 6 = 54

It is called 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 54.

p = 144/9

p = 16

So, 16 times 6 is equal to 144.
